Hades Switch NSP XCI ROM Download Free
Zagreus refuses to stay put in his father’s Underworld. Supergiant Games made this action roguelike for Nintendo Switch, and it reached Switch on September 17, 2020. The prince keeps escaping toward the surface, and every failed escape leaves him stronger and reveals more story.
The download runs about 3.9GB in NSP or XCI form, and it is single-player only. Rooms, enemies, and god-given powers change on each run, so no two attempts play alike. Death is not a punishment here, because the story continues after every defeat back at the House of Hades.

Hades Story: Escaping the Underworld
Zagreus wants to leave the Underworld and find his mother on Mount Olympus, but his father Hades forbids it. Each escape takes him through Tartarus, Asphodel, Elysium, and the Temple of Styx, fighting shades and monsters at every step. Olympian relatives like Zeus, Athena, and Poseidon grant powers called Boons to help him.
Dying moves the story forward, which is the clever part. Back home, Zagreus talks to his father, his mentor Achilles, the dog Cerberus, and dozens of other characters, and their dialogue changes after every run. Relationships deepen, secrets about his mother emerge, and even the gods comment on your latest failure.
After many escapes, the truth about Zagreus’s birth, his mother’s exile, and his father’s stubbornness all comes together. The ending is earned through persistence, and an epilogue continues the story even after the credits roll. Each return home adds dialogue, so the story never stalls between runs.

Hades Gameplay: Fast Combat, Endless Runs
Combat is fast and isometric: dash, slash, and cast with one of six Infernal Arms, from sword to bow to fists. God-given Boons modify every attack, dash, and special move, so no two runs play the same. Zeus lightning plus Poseidon knockback can clear rooms in seconds.
Between runs you spend Darkness, Gemstones, and Keys on permanent upgrades at the Mirror of Night and the House Contractor. These upgrades add health, dashes, and new rooms, so you genuinely grow stronger over time. Keepsakes from characters give starting bonuses, like a guaranteed god’s Boon in the first rooms.
Runs last about 20 to 30 minutes, and the game respects your time: you can pause, save mid-run, and jump back in. Bosses like Megaera, the Bone Hydra, and Theseus guard the end of each region, and beating them all in one run is the goal that keeps players coming back.
