New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe Switch NSP XCI ROM Download
Eight worlds stand between Mario and a kidnapped Princess Peach. Nintendo EPD made this platformer for Nintendo Switch, published by Nintendo, and it launched on January 11, 2019, as an enhanced port of the Wii U game, including the New Super Luigi U expansion. Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach, and Mario’s crew must rescue her.
Four players can share local co-op, and the whole package runs about 2.5GB in NSP or XCI form. It is classic 2D Mario: run, jump, stomp, and collect across eight worlds. New characters Nabbit and Toadette make the game friendlier for beginners.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Story: Bowser Takes the Castle
Bowser crashes Peach’s castle party and kidnaps the princess, throwing Mario, Luigi, and Toad far away. The heroes must travel through Acorn Plains, Layer-Cake Desert, Frosted Glacier, and five more worlds to reach Bowser’s Castle. Each world ends with a Koopaling boss guarding the path.
The plot is the classic Mario setup, and it works because the eight worlds are the point. You also meet Nabbit, a speedy rabbit thief, and Toadette, who can use the Super Crown to become Peachette. Their stories are small but charming additions to the Mario world.
The included New Super Luigi U campaign retells the adventure with shorter, harder levels and Luigi as the star. It is a full second game inside the package, with its own world map and 82 remixed courses.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Gameplay: Classic Mario, Four-Player Fun
Pure 2D Mario means running and jumping through side-scrolling levels, stomping Goombas, and grabbing power-ups like the Fire Flower, Ice Flower, and Super Acorn. The Super Acorn turns Mario into Flying Squirrel Mario, who can glide and cling to walls. Star Coins hidden in every level unlock secret paths and bonus stages.
Up to four players can play together, with Mario, Luigi, Toad, Toadette, and Nabbit as choices. Nabbit takes no damage from enemies, making him perfect for younger players. Toadette’s Peachette form floats after jumps and survives one fall into a pit, which helps newcomers a lot.
Challenge Mode adds timed and restricted objectives, like clearing a stage without touching the ground. Secret exits, warp pipes, and hidden levels reward exploration, and the whole package offers well over a hundred courses between both campaigns.

Conclusion
Pick it if your household wants one Mario game that covers beginners, kids, and experienced players at once.
Skip it if you want a brand-new Mario adventure rather than a polished port of a Wii U game.
Families should hand Nabbit to the youngest player and let experienced players take Mario or Luigi.
Start with the main campaign, then tackle Luigi U’s shorter, harder courses second.
