Donkey Kong Country Returns HD Story: The Tiki Tak Tribe Strikes
On a quiet night, the Tiki Tak Tribe appears on Donkey Kong Island and hypnotizes every animal with their music. The hypnotized animals steal DK’s banana hoard, and only DK and Diddy escape the spell. The two Kongs set out to chase the thieves and take their bananas back.
Their journey crosses jungles, beaches, caves, volcanoes, and factories. Each world is ruled by a Tiki boss with its own musical theme and attack patterns. The Kongs also meet Cranky Kong, who sells helpful items from his shop between levels.
The final showdown is against Tiki Tong, the giant leader of the tribe, in a multi-phase battle. Winning restores the island, frees the animals, and returns the banana hoard to its rightful owners. It is a banana heist told with great humor and energy.
