Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD Story: Ghosts in Five Mansions
The Dark Moon hangs over Evershade Valley and keeps its ghosts friendly. When King Boo shatters it, the ghosts turn mischievous and hostile, and Professor E. Gadd’s research is ruined. E. Gadd recruits a reluctant Luigi, who would rather be anywhere else, to recover the Dark Moon pieces.
Each of the five mansions holds one piece, guarded by a boss ghost. The mansions have themes: a gloomy manor, a haunted tower, a clock factory, a snowy mine, and a treetop hideout. Along the way Luigi rescues Toads, who help him open new areas.
King Boo’s plan is bigger than simple mischief: he wants revenge on Luigi and Mario for past defeats. The final battle takes place in King Boo’s illusion, where Luigi must outsmart the ghost king himself. The story is funny, spooky, and perfect for all ages.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD Gameplay: Vacuuming Ghosts Across Mansions
Luigi explores mansions room by room, vacuuming up coins, furniture, and ghosts with the Poltergust 5000. To catch a ghost, you flash it with the Strobulb to stun it, then vacuum while it pulls away. Stronger ghosts need more flashes and longer vacuuming, and some wear armor or hide in objects.
The Dark-Light Device reveals hidden objects, doors, and ghosts invisible to the eye. Puzzles involve pulling curtains, spinning fans, and using the vacuum on the environment. Money collected goes to E. Gadd’s lab, where you can upgrade the Poltergust, Strobulb, and Dark-Light Device.
Missions structure the game: each mansion is split into missions with a clear goal, like finding a piece or rescuing a Toad. After each mission, E. Gadd grades your performance. The HD version improves the visuals and adds a gallery mode with models and music.
